Develops & implements robust methods and procedures for process control, improvements, testing, and inspection to ensure products meet design requirements and function as intended. Manages multiple testing build projects; planning, budgeting, resource allocation, and risk assessments. Designs, installs, and validates advanced testing equipment, such as servo-hydraulic and data acquisition systems, ensures compliance with relevant standards like ASTM and ISO. Utilizes specialized test systems, including MTS and DEWESoft, while innovating new testing methods to continuously improve processes. Works closely with program representatives to resolve testing issues, drive effective corrective actions, and support supplier quality improvement initiatives.

Lead a mixed team of Technicians and Engineers. Be the subject matter expert for all Machining process at GDOTS Lincoln Operations. Manage blanket Purchase Orders for all support tools and equipment. Specify CNC equipment needs, machine configurations, and spare parts list/inventory. Engage with Operations to solicit feedback. Own and regularly update Process Map, FMEA, and Control Plans for all core Machining Operations | Lead/Support root cause analysis when machining methods are not in a state of control. Work with program teams to develop detailed machining processes, instructions and tooling needed for development and production parts. Aid in troubleshooting CNC machine issues and coordinate with repair contractors
