Provides extensive analysis support during motor development, definition of analysis methods and tools, motor production support and characterization of motor properties. Experience in ballistics analysis of Solid Rocket Motors is preferred.

Manages the supplier quality function including performance metrics, quality deliverables and effective supplier RCCA’s. Manages the calibration system supporting the procurement and service of all inspection equipment and calibrated instruments/tooling. Supports the development, implementation and continuous improvement of inspection procedures and technologies. Implements and helps maintain the site Quality Management System in accordance with current quality standards in an AS9100 environment.

Analyzes engineering specifications or blueprints to define the dimensions and features of the metal part to be produced. Determines the optimal tool path for fabricating the part by selecting appropriate machine tools (e.g., lathes, drill presses, milling machines, grinders, boring machines, etc.) and specifying the sequence of tool operations. Manually sets up/adjusts machine tools. Recommends revisions in design and/or substitutions in material based on machinability or fabrication problems
