Lead or coordinate project planning, resourcing, staffing, progress reporting, troubleshooting and team leadership. Monitor performance and recommend schedule changes, cost adjustments or resource additions. Preferred:Creates, manages, and reports on Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) | Creates, maintains and coordinates updates risk database with all functions Critical professional related technical skills; computer skills: Proficient in Microsoft Project , Deltek Open Plan or similar scheduling software, Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access)
Follows policies, procedures, and methods to evaluate and improve the quality of products, materials, components and/or operations | Follows and/ or develops, assures and maintains the quality of products and processes through standard procedures & systems (e.g., ISO 9001:2000, ISO 14000 & AS9100 standards), quality audits/ review process, etc. Responsibilities are within the Quality Assurance Methods Function as a generalist or in a combination of Disciplines
Plans and prepares manufacturing production schedules and departmental workflows to establish sequence and lead time of each production operation to meet shipping dates according to sales forecasts or customer orders | Expedites operations that delay schedules and alters schedules to meet unforeseen conditions; includes estimating | Analyzes plant capacity and production requisition data to determine manufacturing processes and required resources; prepares production reports
Sets up and operates automatic or semi-automatic machines and related equipment in a continuous production/processing operation | Monitors meters, gauges, valves, flow ratios, temperatures, pressures, and related controls and guidelines to ensure adherence to production/process specifications | Reports any malfunctions or abnormalities and makes minor adjustments and repairs to equipment | Performs all work in accordance with established safety proceduresThis position is required to work 1st and/or 2nd shift, as needed.
Plans, designs and constructs manufacturing facilities and related structures | Determines facility specifications, including analysis and evaluation of location, material resources and structural design | Resolves technical problems and recommends production improvements
Prepares and distributes periodic financial statements for users other than those directly employed by the organization. Ensures all reports and disclosures comply with applicable government regulations, professional standards and organization policies. Consolidates divisional and subsidiary financial accounts in a timely and accurate basis for inclusion in internal and external financial statements. Conducts or assists in the documentation of accounting projects. Develop and establish specific accounting practices and policies for teams to follow to ensure the integrity of accounting records for completeness, accuracy, and compliance with accepted accounting policies. Collaborate with GD-OTS location finance personnel on accounting matters and to provide financial support.
Performs preventive maintenance and repairs on equipment and systems (e.g., mechanical, electrical) | Evaluates and recommends equipment improvements to improve availability, capability and yield | Performs equipment failure analyses (including preventive and unscheduled maintenance) | Troubleshoots and diagnoses equipment problems | Prepares technical reports to document equipment modifications and equipment maintenance procedures. Production equipment includes CNC lathes, draw benches, mechanical presses, ovens, cranes, and chemical lines. Facilities maintenance will also be required.

We are currently seeking a Senior Test Engineer for our Solid Rocket Motor program. This individual will be required to develop and implement methods and procedures for process control, process improvement, testing and inspection to ensure that the products are free of flaws and function as designed. Design and install sophisticated testing equipment and performs product testing and analysis to maintain quality levels and minimize defects and failure rates. Analyze reports and defective products to determine trends and recommend corrective actions. Collaborate with supplier representatives on quality problems, ensures that effective corrective actions are implemented and contributes to supplier quality improvement programs.
Designs, develops and implements nondestructive testing (NDT) to evaluate the properties and conformance of a material, component or system without causing damage. Records, analyzes and reports test results. Writes testing plans and maintains test documentation in accordance with applicable regulations and requirements.Must be certified LEVEL II in at least TWO of the following methods: Magnetic Particle, Ultra Sonic, Dye Penetrant, Radiography.
