This individual will be required to develop, design, build and test robotic platforms from prototype through product commercialization. Create an integrated autonomous interface, mobility, communication, and human-robot interaction. Works with cross-functional teams to understand opportunities for robotic applications.Manager Specific requirements:Programs and troubleshoots PLCs and associated control systems.Reads and understands equipment schematics.Designs simple electronic control systems, specifies control equipment, builds and installs control systems.
As a Senior Automation Engineer, you will lead the development of new equipment specifications, supplier selection, quote reviews and technical support through design, installation and verification activities. In addition, you will lead automation projects to define the problem statement and technical requirements, coordinate with multi-disciplinary engineering teams to determine an appropriate technical solution and oversee the development and implementation solution.
Specifies precise new product functional requirements; designs, tests and integrates components to produce final designs; evaluates the design's overall effectiveness, cost, reliability and safety | Participates in cross-functional teams to assess technical needs and feasibility | Designs, develops, executes and evaluates fitness-for-use testing, product specifications and process validation plans | Collaborates with internal manufacturing partners, contract manufacturers, designers and product specialists to optimize designs for manufacturability | Lays out and draws schematic or angle views to review functional relationships of components, assemblies, systems and machinesThis position is located at our Main Plant facility.
