The ideal candidate will have experience as Mechanical Design Engineer for solid rocket motors. That would include Mechanical Design Integration of Solid Propulsion Systems, mechanical system design, mass properties and integrating all sub-assemblies. They will be responsible for the design, development, and integration of mechanical components used in solid rocket motor systems. This role focuses on creating CAD models, engineering drawings, and specifications for critical hardware such as motor cases, nozzles, insulation systems, joints, and structural interfaces. This position can be remote or at our Huntsville, AL or Hampton, AR facility.

Analyzes engineering specifications or blueprints to define the dimensions and features of the metal part to be produced. Determines the optimal tool path for fabricating the part by selecting appropriate machine tools (e.g., lathes, drill presses, milling machines, grinders, boring machines, etc.) and specifying the sequence of tool operations. Manually sets up/adjusts machine tools. Recommends revisions in design and/or substitutions in material based on machinability or fabrication problems
Leads an Integrated Project Team (IPT) to design, develop, manufacture, and deliver complex servo actuator systems on gun-hardened and space qualified programs. Works with engineering management to plan, staff, and execute projects of all sizes. Serves as engineering interface to program management, senior leadership, and the customer community. The successful candidate for this role has a strong understanding of thermal analysis principles, with expertise in some of the tools common in industry. As a Thermal Engineer you will conduct detailed thermal analysis of solid rocket motor components. You will collaborate closely with cross-disciplinary teams, interface with customers, and drive technical excellence. We are seeking Technician II candidates to support our field service engineering team with Active Protection System (APS). The selected candidates will provide hands-on technical expertise, supporting the installation, testing, troubleshooting, and maintenance of APS kits on various military vehicles and platforms. Individuals in this role will interact with U.S. military personnel, foreign supplier partners, vehicle prime contractors, and other stakeholders while operating at customer sites. Travel may include OCONUS trips. Ability to obtain a Security Clearance is required.
