Metal Part Machining focuses on operating computer or mechanically controlled machines to produce and repair metal parts for manufacturing. Analyzes engineering specifications or blueprints to define the dimensions and features of the metal part to be produced. Determines the optimal tool path for fabricating the part by selecting appropriate machine tools (e.g., lathes, drill presses, milling machines, grinders, boring machines, etc.) and specifying the sequence of tool operations. Manually sets up/adjusts machine tools. Recommends revisions in design and/or substitutions in material based on machinability or fabrication problems

Responsible for working collaboratively across different departments to manage projects/programs from initiation through completion, meet financial revenue, operating efficiency, and strategic goals, as well as regulatory requirements. Keeps all stakeholders informed of developments on the projects/programs covering the full range of the program's life cycle. Plans, monitors and manages internal programs from initiation through completion. Leads or coordinates programs, resourcing, staffing, progress reporting, troubleshooting and indirect people management. Monitors performance and recommends schedule changes, cost adjustments or resource additions. Responsibilities are within the Project Management function as a generalist or in a combination of disciplines.

Responsible for fabricating, modifying, and repairing mechanical instruments and assemblies using precision tools and machinery to produce high-quality parts according to specifications. Interpret blueprints, monitor operations, inspect product, problem solve, accurate recordkeeping. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
Participates in the development and fulfillment of contract requirements in the purchase or sale/delivery of equipment, materials, products or services. Evaluates contract compliance and advises others on contractual rights and obligations | Requests or approves amendments to contract terms or contract extensions. Designs, develops and implements nondestructive testing (NDT) to evaluate the properties and conformance of a material, component or system without causing damage. Records, analyzes and reports test results. Writes testing plans and maintains test documentation in accordance with applicable regulations and requirements.Must be certified LEVEL II in at least TWO of the following methods: Magnetic Particle, Ultra Sonic, Dye Penetrant, Radiography.
