Plays a critical role in ensuring that GD-Ordnance & Tactical Systems (OTS) maintains an effective internal control environment that supports the accuracy and reliability of the financial statements. Responsible for developing and implementing internal control frameworks, policies, and procedures to guide the company in SOX-related and other compliance efforts. Additionally, this individual will provide technical internal controls knowledge to stakeholders within the company to enable them to mitigate risk and ensure accurate reporting. Performs Engineering work related to the facilitization of metal forming facilities. This role will assist the program managers and onsite production engineering team. This includes creation of Scopes of Work, reviewing contractor proposals, design reviews, and managing the performance of the various facilitization programs. Additionally, reviewing change orders and control the configuration of the drawings and design.
Supports general business operations by providing various administrative support activities as a generalist or in a combination of Disciplines in the Administrative Services Function.

This position supports our PM weekend crew. Working Friday, Sat & Sunday 5am-5:30pm. Performs preventive maintenance and repairs on equipment and systems (e.g., mechanical, electrical) | Evaluates and recommends equipment improvements to improve availability, capability and yield | Performs equipment failure analyses (including preventive and unscheduled maintenance) | Troubleshoots and diagnoses equipment problems | Prepares technical reports to document equipment modifications and equipment maintenance procedures. Production equipment includes CNC lathes, draw benches, mechanical presses, ovens, cranes, and chemical lines. Facilities maintenance will also be required.
As a Senior Automation Engineer, you will lead the development of new equipment specifications, supplier selection, quote reviews and technical support through design, installation and verification activities. In addition, you will lead automation projects to define the problem statement and technical requirements, coordinate with multi-disciplinary engineering teams to determine an appropriate technical solution and oversee the development and implementation solution.

The Electro-Mechanical Technician is responsible for a range of tasks related to systems integration equipment and process operations that require technical expertise. This role includes testing, assembling, and evaluating various types of AC and DC components. Candidates must possess knowledge and experience in utilizing electronic and mechanical equipment, such as multimeters, power supplies, oscilloscopes, and calipers, as well as a solid understanding of AC and DC theory.
