The R&D Engineer II (Ballistician) initiates the design, development, execution and implementation of technology research projects. Investigates the feasibility of applying scientific principles and concepts to potential inventions and products. Plans and executes applied research. Is involved in all aspects of the design of propulsion systems. Provides extensive analysis support during motor development, definition of analysis methods and tools, motor production support and characterization of motor properties. Experience in ballistics analysis of Solid Rocket Motors is preferred.
