They will be responsible for the design, development, and integration of mechanical components used in solid rocket motor systems. This role focuses on creating CAD models, engineering drawings, and specifications for critical hardware such as motor cases, nozzles, insulation systems, joints, and structural interfaces. This position can be remote or at our Huntsville, AL or Hampton, AR facility.
We are seeking a Senior Test Engineering Specialist to support test activities for solid rocket motor development, qualification, and production programs within a defense environment. Key responsibilities include developing detailed test plans, procedures, and instrumentation setups; overseeing hardware readiness; managing test fixtures, pressure systems, and test stand integration; The specialist leads real‑time test execution, including monitoring performance parameters, diagnosing anomalies, and ensuring safe conduct of all operations in a high‑hazard environment.
