Project/Program Management


Support the planning and coordination of program activities to ensure program goals and objectives are met. Analyze and report financial program data to ensure goals and objectives of projects and proposals are accomplished within prescribed schedule and cost parameters.

Major Position Responsibilities

Prepares estimates, cost reports, forecasts, schedules, account codes, budgets, audits and change orders.


Coordinates quantity estimates by obtaining and analyzing data on unit labor costs and unit material costs.


Updates estimates, schedules, reports, and documents based on revisions and changes to the project.


Assists with preparation of final project reports including obtaining historical data and information.


Assists in preparing and maintaining the departmental policies, procedures and manuals.


Gathers and inputs data for pricing of proposals. Coordinates effort with proposal coordinator.


Participates in preparation of Data Item submittals.


Track program expenditures to maintain cost and schedule.


Coordinate program purchase requisitions with procurement department.


Prepares monthly program reports for PM review (highlights, EAC’s, and financial status reports).


Serves as Program Manager in their absence.



Basic Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting and 5-7 years related experience; or equivalent. Working knowledge of DoD contracts and other commonly used accounting concepts, practices, and procedures in the field required. Experience with FAR and CAS preferred.


Trained in Earned Value Management System (EVMS), Contract Fund Status Report (CFSR), Contract Schedule Status Report (CSSR)


Experienced in use of Microsoft Project and Pro-Pricer, Working knowledge of MPM
