Overview

We are looking for a detail oriented, result driven, and resourceful Cyber Business Operations Manager to work closely with our Supply Chain, Contracts, Program Management, and other internal business partners to spearhead our Cyber Security requirements awareness as it pertains to Business Operations.

 

In this non-technical role you will understand and communicate the DFARS 252.204-7012 and the CyberSecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) requirements that supply chain and our suppliers will need to achieve to improve their Cyber security posture and meet regulatory requirements. You will also interact with contracts and legal to address additional regulatory requirements as it pertains to Cyber Security.

Major Position Responsibilities

  • Spearhead education programs focused on user awareness and security compliance to include developing trainings and presentations as required.
  • Manages of a team of cyber operation analysts to support the business in properly responding to regulatory and customer requirements as it pertains to cybersecurity.
  • Create a strategic plan for the centralization and maintenance of data required for cybersecurity compliance and USG regulations.
  • Update/create policies as required to support changing regulations or interpretations of current regulations.
  • Bridge the gap and act as a liaison between business operations and the IT team
  • Establish an audit system to assess suppliers and internal processes and provide comprehensive risk assessments.
  • Review and advice on customer solicitations containing cybersecurity requirements as it relates to internal and external policies and regulations.
  • Develop strategies and systems to handle cyber incidents and coordinate investigative activities
  • Act as a focal point for cyber security investigations regarding third parties and provide guidance and documentation for incident responders and company stakeholders.
  • Liaison with other cyber analyst entities or organizations to stay current on changing cybersecurity requirements.
  • Special projects and other duties as assigned.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree (BS/BA} from four-year College or university; and seven to ten years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience in Aerospace & Defense or Information Technology 
  • Ability to bridge communication between the technical and business personnel
  • Proficiency with SharePoint and Microsoft Office is a plus
  • Understanding of NIST ISO/IEC or other industry standard framework
  • Highly organized and detailed oriented
  • 3-5 years Management experience
