Job Summary
Extracts knowledge and insights from high volume, high dimensional data in order to investigate complex business problems through a range of data preparation, modeling, analysis and/or visualization techniques to create solutions| Retrieves, analyzes and summarizes business, operations or customer data in order to develop business intelligence, optimize effectiveness and/or predict business outcomes | Identifies, analyzes, and interprets trends or patterns and prepares ongoing reports and data visualizations in order to support business decisions | Typically uses dedicated business intelligence applications and/or cloud services (e.g.,PowerBI, Tableau), but may also leverage the reporting capabilities of existing ERP, CRM and/or database software vendors (e.g., Oracle BI &/or Salesforce)

Essential Functions
Provides management and analysis of business data for use in data-driven decision making and organizational efficiency improvement initiatives.
Uses statistical methods, modeling, analytical methodologies, and data analysis to develop and deploy tools including dashboards, infographics, reports, and models to inform and support decision-making.
Aggregates and performs statistical analysis on business data based on requests from project teams or senior leadership.
Integrates data from multiple data sources or functional areas, ensures data accuracy and integrity, and updates data as needed.
Writes queries or reports to provide data for various analytical projects.
Mines, processes, and analyzes internal and external data using KPIs, business results, industry sources, competitor intelligence, and customer information.
Interprets data to identify business trends, conduct root cause analysis of business problems, or suggest areas for process improvement.
Develops a good understanding of the business's model, objectives, issues, and challenges by interacting and collaborating with users and stakeholders.
Additional Responsibilities
Utilizes querying data visualization /Power BI tools, statistical methods, and data modeling to produce reports, data files, and dashboards.
Required Qualifications
Required education and experience: Associate's Degree and 0-3 years' experience OR Equivalent Combination of Relevant Education &/or Experience
Critical professional related technical skills; computer skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Preferred Qualifications
Preferred education and experience: Bachelor's Degree
Discipline/Major: Business, Information Technology or related discipline preferred.
Knowledge, skills & abilities: Oral and written communication skills. Computer skills. Mathematical skills. Analytical thinking skills. Statistical knowledge. Problem-solving skills.
Physical Requirements
Must be able to remain in a stationary position at a desk and/or computer for extended periods of time.
Work primarily in a climate-controlled environment with minimal safety/health hazard potential.
