Plans and implements the design, manufacture, installation and/or maintenance of electrical systems and apparatus, such as electric motors, machinery controls, wiring and power systems/devices, for the generation, transmission and control of electric power.

• Designs, develops, and tests electrical equipment, components, circuits, or systems.
• Applies mathematical and engineering principles and methods to designs.

• Conducts research and studies new technologies to innovate and design solutions or products.

Assist Facilities PM to monitor & maintain plant elec. distribution system, review/approve preliminary elec. designs submitted by contractors for various projects, Point of contact for plant automation software licenses, Assist personnel w/ the following: Elec troubleshooting of automated prod machinery, Maintain req software versions on pc’s, Oversee all PLC program edits made to OEM machinery, Assist w/ specification of electrical/electronic replacement parts

• Required education and experience: Associate's Degree and 8-10 years' experience
• Discipline/Major: Engineering degree required
• Critical professional related technical skills; computer skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

• Preferred education and experience: Bachelor's Degree

• Must be able to remain in a stationary position at a desk and/or computer for extended periods of time.
