Job Summary-

Must be able to carry out written and verbal assignments and provide reliable shift coverage for performing electrical/instrumentation repairs to a variety of equipment. Employee will be responsible for performing troubleshooting, repairs, and installations on electrical and electronic systems to include power distribution, motor circuits, and automatic control systems.  The employee must be able to climb stairs and ladders, work at elevations, lift 75-100 lbs., operate power tools and equipment, work in confined spaces and operate maintenance mobile equipment (such as trucks and man lifts). Good interpersonal skills are required as well as a desire to work and reliable transportation to and from work.

Qualifications-

A thorough understanding of three-phase motor circuitry and familiarity with operation and maintenance of basic industrial control equipment is essential.  Must be knowledgeable in use of electrical test equipment and have exposure to electrical construction techniques.  A minimum 4-5 years of directly related experience is desired.  State certified electrician journeyman or master license, certification from accredited electrical/electronic training program is a plus and may substitute for experience.  PLC and DCS experience is also a plus.

 

Minimum 4 years performing directly related electrical craft work in an industrial environment. 

Understanding of three-phase motor circuitry and familiarity with operation and maintenance of industrial control equipment.

 

 May consider less with successful completion of appropriate study at a technical school.
