Job Summary
Assembles mechanical units, fabricated parts/components and/or electrical/electronic systems to make subassemblies, assemblies or complete units using hand tools, power tools, jigs, fixtures and miscellaneous equipment | Fits, aligns, calibrates and adjusts parts and mechanisms to meet tolerances and product operating requirements; repairs units or products that have failed to meet requirements

Essential Functions
- Supervises a manufacturing production line that assembles fabricated parts.
- Creates daily work schedules, follows standard manufacturing procedures, and monitors work to meet product specifications and production targets.
- Resolves production problems and answers workers' questions about processes, methods, or equipment.
- Delivers training for new processes or equipment and onboard new employees.
- Conducts quality testing on completed assemblies to validate tolerances and product specifications.
- Reviews daily assembly production records to identify trends or potential performance issues.
- Leads and directs the work of other employees and has some responsibility for personnel actions including hiring, performance management, and termination with concurrence from HR & General Managers.

Required Qualifications
- Required education and experience: Associate's Degree and 5-7 years' experience OR Equivalent Combination of Relevant Education &/or Experience
- Critical professional related technical skills; computer skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

- Preferred education and experience: Bachelor's Degree

Physical Requirements
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position at a desk and/or computer for extended periods of time.
- Requires regular movement throughout GD-OTS facilities.
- May need to stand for long periods of time.
- Work primarily in a climate-controlled environment with minimal safety/health hazard potential.
- Work may require employee to work inside and outside with exposure to changing climate and/or operate machinery.
- This position is Safety-Sensitive.

The salary range displayed reflects the minimum and maximum for salary for this position. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, internal equity, and relevant education or training. Additional Compensation
Hired applicant may be eligible to participate in the Company’s Gain Sharing Program.
