General Dynamics Ordnance and Tactical Systems (GD-OTS) is looking for an experienced Manager, Production to join our Lincoln, NE organization. We are expanding rapidly and looking for motivated and creative individuals who want to help support and shape this organization as we grow. 

GD-OTS provides reliable and affordable composite products to the defense and commercial aerospace markets. With more than 60 years of expertise, GD-OTS designs, develops, manufactures, and tests a full range of composite missile and space structures, including rocket motors, pressure vessels, launch tubes and fuel tanks.

Internal Applications Close: .

· Manages production operations for assigned units or during an assigned shift.

· Supervises workers that operate production machinery, assemble items, perform quality control, or package goods for shipment.

· Notifies maintenance or engineering departments when equipment requires maintenance or repair.

· Monitors output of assigned area(s) against established schedules or quality goals. Coordinates the flow of work through the department and ensures that department has sufficient levels of inventory to meet demand and is staffed appropriately.

· Leads and directs the work of other employees and has some responsibility for personnel actions related to hiring, performance, and disciplinary actions with concurrence from the HR Directors & General Managers.

Required Associate's Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations, Business or related field & 5-7 years relevent experience required.
Preferred: Bachelor's Degree.
