Overview

The Assembly Manager is a key position in leading the manufacturing team in the production of motion control products and in the adoption and implementation of lean manufacturing practices. This role will also manage the IPT manufacturing daily operations, ensuring to provide a safe work environment, manage costs, improve quality, increase efficiencies, develop KPI’s and ensure that products are delivered on time. The Assembly Manager is also a driver for Continuous Improvement in manufacturing areas.

Major Position Responsibilities

  • Supervises a manufacturing production line that assembles fabricated parts.
  • Creates daily work schedules, follows standard manufacturing procedures, and monitors work to meet product specifications and production targets.
  • Resolves production problems and answers workers' questions about processes, methods, or equipment.
  • Delivers training for new processes or equipment and onboard new employees.
  • Conducts quality testing on completed assemblies to validate tolerances and product specifications.
  • Reviews daily assembly production records to identify trends or potential performance issues.
  • Leads and directs the work of other employees and has some responsibility for personnel actions including hiring, performance management, and termination with concurrence from HR & General Managers.

Basic Qualifications

  • Required Education And Experience: Associate's Degree and 5-7 years’ experience OR Equivalent Combination of Relevent Education &/or Experience
  • Preferred Education: Bachelor's Degree
  • Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Management Skills. Foster Teamwork. Assembly. Functional Testing. Operations Management. Process Optimization. Quality Inspection. Reading Blueprints/Diagrams.   • Critical Professional Related Technical Skills; Computer Skills: Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

Pay Range (USD)

$82,852.00 - $153,868.00

The salary range displayed reflects the minimum and maximum for salary for this position. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, internal equity, and relevant education or training. Your recruiter can share more about the range during the hiring process.

Additional Compensation

Hired applicant may be eligible to participate in the Company’s Gain Sharing Program.
