Overview

General Dynamics Ordnance and Tactical Systems (GD-OTS) is looking for an experienced Supervisor, Faciltiies to join our Lincoln, NE organization. We are expanding rapidly and looking for motivated and creative individuals who want to help support and shape this organization as we grow. 

 

GD-OTS provides reliable and affordable composite products to the defense and commercial aerospace markets. With more than 60 years of expertise, GD-OTS designs, develops, manufactures, and tests a full range of composite missile and space structures, including rocket motors, pressure vessels, launch tubes and fuel tanks.

Major Position Responsibilities

  • Supervises and coordinates the day-to-day maintenance and support of buildings, grounds, and facilities systems.
  • Oversees staff installing, inspecting, repairing, and maintaining building systems, including mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, safety, and waste management.
  • Tracks work orders and ensures work follows established service and quality standards for completion.
  • Schedules and supervises preventative maintenance, painting, or carpentry projects.
  • Maintains a safe and effective working environment that complies with regulations and laws.
  • May coordinate work to be completed by contractors and skilled trades. 
  • Leads and directs the work of other employees and has some responsibility for personnel actions including hiring, performance management, and termination with concurrence from HR & General Managers.

Basic Qualifications

Required

  • Associate's Degree in Facilities, Maintenance or related field & 3-5 years relevent experience required.
  • Preferred: Bachelor's Degree.
