The qualified individual is committed to closely following instructions and direction provided by team leaders and fellow Test Technicians. They embrace working outdoors in a closely monitored environment to provide safe operations throughout their day. They are open to learning a unique set of skills that involves their hands-on Electrical and Electronics experience. The working environment includes regular and closely monitored explosives handling and detonation.

 

Major Position Responsibilities

Essential Functions:

  • Performs standard testing processes on a variety of equipment and records and analyzes results.
  • Records data from testing in standard formats and provides results to product and engineering teams.
  • Assists technical teams with recommendations to resolve testing problems, roadblocks or equipment malfunctions that impact the performance or validity of testing.
  • Requires knowledge of industry specific tests and testing equipment.
  • Supports less experienced colleagues with test engineering support

  • Performs manual tasks according to established procedures
  • Requires full proficiency in a range of technical processes or procedures through job-related training and considerable on-the-job experience
  • Completes a variety of atypical assignments
  • Works within defined technical processes and procedures or methodologies and may help determine the appropriate approach for new assignments
  • Works with a limited degree of supervision, with oversight focused only on complex new assignments
  • Acts as an informal resource for colleagues with less experience

Basic Qualifications

Required Education: Equivalent Combination of Relevent Education and or Experience

Preferred Education: Associate's Degree

Discipline/Major:      Technical Training Preferred

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities: Engineering Support. Test Execution. Industry Standards. Test Documentation. Test Equipment.
