Starting Hourly Rate: $21.50 per hour.

 

General Dynamics Ordnance and Tactical Systems (GD-OTS) is looking for an experienced Intern - Technical Support (Supplier Quality Assurance Engineer) to join our Lincoln, NE organization. We are expanding rapidly and looking for motivated and creative individuals who want to help support and shape this organization as we grow. 

 

GD-OTS provides reliable and affordable composite products to the defense and commercial aerospace markets. With more than 60 years of expertise, GD-OTS designs, develops, manufactures, and tests a full range of composite missile and space structures, including rocket motors, pressure vessels, launch tubes and fuel tanks. This is a Year-Round Internship located on-site at our facility in Lincoln, NE.

Major Position Responsibilities

  • Support with the day-to-day activities in Supplier Performance in all aspects of Quality development.  This would include:
    • Work with QCRI to resolve supplier issues Issuing/managing supplier corrective actions/notifications​
    • Assist Receiving inspection with certs/inspections​
    • Working with suppliers to update paperwork​
    • QMOS slides​
    • Monthly SQ Metrics​
    • Monthly Scorecards​
    • Reviewing/approving supplier FAIs​
    • Review/approve supplier request forms​
    • Receiving authorizations for Verify invoices ​
    • Support Internal supplier meetings​
    • Providing approved special processor lists to suppliers​
    • Adding suppliers to our ASPL​
    • Develop supplier audit checklists

Basic Qualifications

Completed a minimum of 2 years in an Engineering discipline, working towards a BS.

 

This is a Year-Round Internship located on-site at our facility in Lincoln, NE.
