Overview

Contribute to the attainment of St. Marks Powder goals by providing technical support and assistance to the Engineering Department.

Major Position Responsibilities

  • Assist with equipment identification, specification, and modification for hazardous area on UB40 project.
  • Perform power requirement and load calculations for new operations.
  • Assist with detailed project tasks such as writing scopes of work, purchasing requisitions, specifications, project close-outs.
  • Perform field survey of existing control system equipment and develop I/O counts for system expansion.
  • Assist in drawing database searches and assembling drawing packages in support of daily engineering efforts.
  • Help with other miscellaneous high priority engineering tasks associated with UB40, Re-packaging facility, and other current capital projects.

Basic Qualifications

Requires significant adaptability as well as working in a manufacturing environment and the ability to work around machinery.

 

Education/Experience/Qualifications:

  • Must be enrolled or accepted into a 2-4-year accredited college or university or have graduated in the last 6 months.
  • Completed at a minimum the sophomore year in college, majoring in the discipline of Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering or similar engineering or technical degree program. 
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office applications, detailed orientated and an attitude supporting a team service environment.
