Plans, schedules, and monitors inbound movement of materials from suppliers | Determines material requirements and coordinates the efficient movement of materials with purchasing, production, and engineering | Develops specifications for new contract orders.

• Provides support by planning and tracking material needed for production schedules.
• Monitors inventory levels and coordinates with purchasing to maintain adequate levels of parts and raw materials to manufacture products.
• Works to resolve and takes corrective action for materials issues impacting production schedules while achieving and maintaining inventory business metrics.
• Analyze, plans, schedules, and initiates procurement actions.
• Ensures materials are cost effective.
• Assists in determining and ensuring the quality of materials.
• Executes material that requires outside processing.

Required Education and Experience:  Associate's Degree and 0-3 years’ experience OR Equivalent Combination of Relevent Education &/ or Experience

 

Preferred Education: Bachelor's Degree

 

Discipline/Major: Business Administration / Supply Chain Management degree preferred

 

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Oral and written communication skills.   Ability to meet deadlines. Problem-solving skills. Computer skills. Planning skills. Leadership skills.

 

Computer Skills: Proficient with use of Microsoft Office
