Overview

General Dynamics Ordnance and Tactical Systems (GD-OTS), a premier provider to the US Department of Defense and allied nations, is seeking a Materials Management Partner II to join our Folsom, California team. This role coordinates incoming and outgoing movement and storage of raw materials, finished products and parts that include functions such as warehousing, shop and delivery services to ensure material availability and delivery when needed to meet production schedules. The Materials Management Partner II compiles data on order volume, production schedules and forecasts and applies statistical methods to estimate future materials requirements.

*We are on a 9/80 schedule (9 hour days Monday - Thursday, alternating Fridays off, opposite Fridays 8 hour days). This is a full-time on-site position. This role will start out as a temporary position with the option of the candidate applying to become a regular full-time GD-OTS employee after 90 days.

Major Position Responsibilities

  • Performs clerical duties associated with materials management.
  • Receives, stocks, and distributes materials, supplies, and equipment.
  • Stores and labels materials in an orderly manner.
  • Drafts reports regarding production progress, inventory levels, and materials costs.
  • Inspects stock items for defects and reports all instances of damage to supervisors.
  • Compares inventory records with physical counts of stock to ensure accuracy, reporting discrepancies when they arise.

Basic Qualifications

  • 3-5 years comparable experience
  • Ability to understand and follow directions

  • Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

Pay Range (USD)

$44,660.00 - $82,940.00 annually
