This individual will be required to perform supply chain and logistic function such as material procurement, production planning, inventory control, outsourcing, vendor selection and distribution. Create integrated processes among internal functions (e.g., operations, purchasing and logistics) and outside suppliers.

 

Major Position Responsibilities

  • Directs overall supply chain operations, including purchasing, inventory, selection of vendors, and distribution of finished goods.
  • Develops and implements strategies to ensure that critical processes run effectively and achieve organizational goals and performance KPIs.
  • Oversees and advises on negotiation strategies with vendors to obtain optimal contracts and pricing.
  • Provides guidance and strategic direction on analytics used to evaluate past performance and trends to forecast inventory and distribution requirements.
  • Leads and directs the work of other employees and has responsibility for personnel actions including hiring, performance management, and termination with concurrence from HR & General Managers

 

Basic Qualifications

  • Required Education and Experience: Associate's Degree and 12-15 years’ experience OR Equivalent Combination of Relevant Education &/or Experience
  • Preferred Education and Experience: Bachelor's Degree
  • Discipline/Major: Business or Supply Chain Management preferred
  • Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Leadership Skills. Judgement. Creativity. Organizational Skills. Distribution Management. Inventory Management. Supply Chain Management. Supply Chain Optimization. Transportation Management. Performance Metrics. Organizational Goal Setting. Strategic Planning.
  • Critical Professional Related Technical Skills; Computer Skills: Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
