This individual will be required to perform engineering work in operations, production, construction or maintenance environments. 

 

Major Position Responsibilities

  • Assists engineers and scientists as they create, modify, and test products and processes.
  • Supports with technical tasks and project support.
  • Sets up equipment and monitors tests and experiments.
  • Inspects products and processes for flaws and identifies areas of improvement.
  • Observes results, collects data, and compiles summaries and reports.
  • Performs extensive research and development during creation phase of product.
  • Utilizes computer-aided design and drafting equipment during design phase.

 

 

Basic Qualifications

  • Required Education and Experience: Vocational/Technical Training Degree and 2-4 years’ experience OR Equivalent Combination of Relevant Education &/ or Experience
  • Preferred Education and Experience: Associate's Degree
  • Discipline/Major: Technical training preferred
  • Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Technical expertise. Ability to understand and follow directions. Design expertise. Mathematical skills. Engineering Support. Computer-Aided Engineering (CAE) Software.
