Overview

The Sr. Financial Analyst works alongside the Financial Planning and Analysis Team to provide strategic support to senior OTS management and corporate stakeholders. The primary responsibilities of this position are managing finances and resources enabling the business to identify any potential risks and opportunities. This role also relies on data, tools, and techniques to optimize the costs associated with manufacturing while improving operational agility, scalability, and cost predictability.

 

Major Position Responsibilities

  • Conducts quantitative analyses of information affecting budgets, expenses, and other financial projects of public or private institutions
  • Collects and analyzes financial information for assigned accounts, products or product lines, or business units in order to track the organization's progress against financial goals.
  • Reports current or expected financial performance and creates financial models to guide decision making.
  • Analyzes cash flow, expenditures, revenue, depreciation, and investments to make recommendations for action and/or modifications regarding financial procedures, plans, and controls.
  • Assists in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, or annual financial statements.

  • Capture / Collect / Analyze key KPI’s
  • Capital expenditure tracking
  • Site level budget analysis
  • Overhead performance monitoring
  • Program rate / forward pricing analysis
  • Major Program CIP verifications / analysis and associated cash flow impacts
  • Headcount justification / analysis
  • Performance measurement against objectives

Basic Qualifications

  • Required education and experience: Associate's Degree and 5-7 years' experience or Equivalent Combination of Relevant Education &/or Experience
  • Knowledge, skills & abilities: Oral and written communication skills. Analytical thinking skills. Statistical knowledge. Detail oriented. Ability to meet deadlines.
  • Critical professional related technical skills: Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Preferred education and experience: Bachelor's Degree
  • Discipline/Major: Business, Finance or Accounting degree preferred.

 

Physical Demands:

  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position at a desk and/or computer for extended periods of time.
  • Work primarily in a climate-controlled environment with minimal safety/health hazard potential.

 

Travel:

  • ​25-50% likely.
