Join our team in Springboro, Ohio as an Engineering Intern for our Hydra-70 supply system

 

 

General Dynamics Ordnance and Tactical Systems is the sole producer to the US Military for the Hydra-70 Rocket System.  Hydra-70 rockets have been produced and in use in the US Army since 1984.  General Dynamics OTS is the system integrator of the 2.75-inch(70mm) Hydra-70 family of rockets.  These rockets include unitary and cargo warheads for use against point and area targets, providing the user a lethal and lightweight weapon system with multi-mission capability.

 

Major Position Responsibilities

Engineering Intern responsibilities would include but not limited to:

Provides support to technical employees working in an organizational function related to the Intern's

area of study.

· Assists with technical tasks and project support.

· Supports equipment set up and monitors tests and experiments.

· Observes results, collects data, and compiles summaries and reports.

· Learns technical processes and procedures.

· Job shadows other more experienced professionals and or support staff.

· May also support the documentation & updates of procedures or work instructions.

· Handles basic issues and problems

Basic Qualifications

Must be currently enrolled in a related Technical course or be within 6 months of graduation.

Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, internal equity, and relevant education or training.
