The Red Lion Team is seeking a Inspection Operator II on First (1st) shift.

Summary:

Plans, schedules, and monitors inbound movement of materials from suppliers | Determines material requirements and coordinates the efficient movement of materials with purchasing, production, and engineering | Develops specifications for new contract orders.

Major Position Responsibilities

Essential Duties: 

  • Provides support by planning and tracking material needed for production schedules.
  • Monitors inventory levels and coordinates with purchasing to maintain adequate levels of
  • parts and raw materials to manufacture products.
  • Works to resolve and takes corrective action for materials issues impacting production
  • schedules while achieving and maintaining inventory business metrics.
  • Analyzes, plans, schedules, and initiates procurement actions.
  • Ensures materials are cost effective.
  • Assists in determining and ensuring the quality of materials.
  • Executes material that requires outside processing.

Basic Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Associate's Degree 
  • 8-10 years' experience
  • OR Equivalent combination of Relevent Education &/or Experience

 

Knowledge, Skills, and Capabilities: 

  • Oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to meet deadlines.
  • Problem-solving skills.
  • Computer skills.
  • Planning skills.
  • Leadership skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office

 

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or Supply Chain Management 

 

Physical Demands: 

  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position at a desk and/or computer for extended periods of time
  • Must be able to lift up to 45 pound s. 
  • Work primarily in a climate-controlled environment with minimal safety/health hazard potential. 
  • Work may require employee to work inside and outside with exposure to changing climate and/or operate machinery. 

 

Travel: 

  • Less than 25% travel likely.
