Overview

GD-OTS is looking for an Intern-Electromechanical Technician to join our Lincoln, NE organization.  We are expanding rapidly and looking for motivated and creative individuals who want to help support and shape this organization as we grow. This is a year-round/full-time internship. This is a SUMMER Internship located on-site at our facility in Lincoln, NE.

 

GD-OTS provides reliable and affordable composite products to the defense and commercial aerospace markets. With more than 50 years of expertise, General Dynamics designs, develops, manufactures, and tests a full range of composite missile and space structures, including rocket motors, pressure vessels, launch tubes and fuel tanks.

Major Position Responsibilities

Electromechanical Technician Intern will report to the Maintenance and Electronics Supervisor and will gain experience with troubleshooting and assisting in the repair of CNC Equipment, PLCs, Hydraulic and Pneumatic Equipment, Automation Equipment, Plant Equipment, etc. Will be required to work first shift, approximately 40 hours per week during summer months of May, June, & July.

Basic Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Currently enrolled in a Technology/Trade School with a minimum of a semester (or equivalent)
  • This is a SUMMER Internship located on-site at our facility in Lincoln, NE
