Overview

GD-OTS is looking for an experienced Supervisor, Production-1st Shift to join our Lincoln, NE organization. We are expanding rapidly and looking for motivated individuals who want to help support and shape this organization as we grow.

 

General Dynamics Ordnance and Tactical Systems provides reliable and affordable composite products to the defense and commercial aerospace markets. With more than 50 years of expertise, General Dynamics designs, develops, manufactures, and tests a full range of composite missile and space structures, including rocket motors, pressure vessels, launch tubes and fuel tanks.

 

Internal Applications Close: 05/06/24.

Major Position Responsibilities

  • Sets up and operates automatic or semi-automatic machines and related equipment in a continuous production/processing operation
  • Monitors meters, gauges, valves, flow ratios, temperatures, pressures, and related controls and guidelines to ensure adherence to production/process specifications
  • Reports any malfunctions or abnormalities and makes minor adjustments and repairs to equipment
  • Performs all work in accordance with established safety procedures

Basic Qualifications

  • 2-4 Year Technical degree or equivalent experience.
  • High integrity, well organized and thorough, with attention to detail.
  • Excellent writing and verbal communication skills.
  • Self-directed and motivated, who can work with minimal supervision.
