Manages all aspects of a diverse IT project or multiple IT projects, typically involving multiple Disciplines in the IT Function. Utilizes expertise and leadership skills to direct staff and to resolve issues to ensure project goals and requirements are met. Typically uses Waterfall and Scrum/Agile development techniques and tools for team collaboration, issue tracking and backlog management.

Duties:

• Coordinates and completes projects in the Information Technology department.
• Establishes and implements project management processes and methodologies for the IT community to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, adhere to high quality standards and meet customer expectations.
• Manages technical and non-technical aspects of the project.
• Plans, schedules, and ensures timely completion of the project.
• Assembles project teams and manages resource allocation and day-to-day operations of the project.
• Serves as liaison between team members and management team regarding projects.

Education and/or Experience:

• Associates Degree or Equivalent Combination of Relevent Education &/or Experience 
• 5-7 years experience relevant to the positions functional area
• Proficient with use of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Project management skills. Oral and written communication skills. Leadership skills.

Preferred:

• Bachelor's Degree in IT or Business degree preferred 

Physical Demands:

• Must be able to remain in a stationary position at a desk and/or computer for extended periods of time.
• Work primarily in a climate-controlled environment with minimal safety/health hazard potential.
