Major Position Responsibilities

  • Perform Preventative Maintenance and extensive equipment repairs on INDUSTRIAL Machinery such as Large Hydraulic Presses, Induction heaters & conveyors independently as prescribed by written and verbal instructions
  • Supports electricians and other maintenance staff in performing equipment repairs
  • Provides guidance to Maintenance 1, 2, and 3 employees and contractors to accomplish projects
  • Troubleshoots and diagnoses equipment failures, recommends solutions and conducts repairs
  • Documents maintenance activities as required and records time management in data base.
  • Adheres to established policies and procedures paying special attention to safety regulations & notifies management of equipment malfunctions and/or personal injuries.
  • Maintains work areas in a clean, orderly, and safe manner to include returning tools to designated areas
  • Other general duties as directed

Basic Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years proven experience working as an electromechanical maintenance technician at an industrial manufacturing facility.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical/hydraulic drawings and schematics.
  • Advanced electrical skills with control power and circuits from 480Vac to 24Vdc.
  • Proven experience with troubleshooting motor controls and VFD’s.
  • Related professional degree or technical training degree preferred.
