Summary:

 

Prepares pricing estimates and creates complex program baselines and program analysis for the business unit, financial and accounting analysis including the review, analysis, interpretation and/or evaluation of budgets, cost, pricing, etc., by performing the following duties:

 

Major Position Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the supervision of finance professionals
  • Oversees the collection and analysis of financial information for an organization
  • Monitors the creation of monthly, quarterly, and annual reports and ensures financial information has been recorded accurately
  • Leads and directs the work of other employees and has some responsibility for personnel actions related to hiring, performance, and disciplinary actions with concurrence from the HR Directors & General Managers

 

Basic Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Associate's degree 
  • Equivalent combination of relevant education and/or experience
  • 3-5 years' experience relevant to the positions functional area 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance or Accounting
  • MBA highly desired
  • Accounting/cost estimating work experience related to program control, program finance/accounting and/or pricing of government contracts
  • Proficient in ProPricer
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel
  • Knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and Cost Accounting Standards (CAS)
  • Knowledge of financial management principles, program planning, Earned Value (EV) reporting for government contracts, budgeting and practices
  • Experience and use of IFS software
