Overview

This role can be remote or onsite but will require approximately 50% travel to SBU sites across the U.S.

 

We are actively hiring a Sr. Principal IT Business Analyst to join our Precision Systems Strategic Business Unit (SBU) assisting with the implementation of our new Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) System, Industry Financial Systems (IFS), at each of our locations. In this role, you will provide complex technical/functional expertise in identifying, evaluating, and developing solutions and procedures that are cost effective and meet SBU user requirements. You will also develop, analyze, design, implement, and support complex business applications, business processes, functions, procedures, analytical solutions, and report writing for SBU site ERP systems.

 

Major Position Responsibilities

  • Functions as an SBU subject matter expert for IFS. Guides SBU functional teams to improve the business ERP implementation through a deep understanding of the ERP systems solution and industry accelerators.  Identifies and bridges the gaps between the OTS’ business requirements, IFS products, and SBU site needs.  Defines test plans and acceptance criteria and participates with implementation strategies and post implementation support.  Contributes to the continuous improvement of existing IT products, processes, and methodology.
  • Works as a functional expert liaison between the SBU or site functional business areas and the OTS technical / functional teams to proactively close open action items
  • Leads gathering information, performs analysis, and makes recommendations to the SBU team based on the data that improves the organization’s operating efficiencies and cost.
  • Assists and directs employees on how to best utilize ERP systems with best practices, training, report writing, workshops, break/fix work, selection of solution modules, and implementation.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or Information Systems
  • 7-12 years of ERP implementation experience 
  • Preferred experience with IFS, INFOR, and Oracle PeopleSoft
