Lead technical professionals in a Product Engineering environment. Responsible for coordinating activities within your team to provide pertinent and timely engineering support including: design changes, configuration management, Root Cause and Corrective Action (RCCA), problem solving / failure analysis, assist with resolution of customer, supply chain and internal manufacturing problem resolution, track and manage budgets as assigned by responsible programs and senior management, develop test plans and support test activities, Material Review Board (MRB) activities. Development and mentorship of individual contributors. Support senior management initiatives for development of capital, Independent Research and Development (IR&D) and overhead budgets.
Represent the organization on functional and technical matters in the company and business unit. Understand industry, customer base, technology base, and company dynamics. Demonstrated expertise in performance management and communication as well as the following:
Management of personnel and associated resources to meet assigned individuals career growth objectives, project cost objectives and milestones
Educate and enforce Company policies and procedures
Strong initiative and ability to work independently or in multi-functional teams in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Solid interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
Fluent with Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T – Y14.5 )
CAD (CREO, Solid Works)
Ability to secure secret clearance.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in an applicable engineering, technical, or science discipline. Advanced degree is a plus.
Ten years of applicable technical experience with related mechanisms / relevant industries. 3+ years of Management/Leadership experience.
Previous Mechanical Design Engineering experience is required.
