Responsible for managing all aspects of the Human Resources function including recruiting, compensation, benefits, worker’s compensation, employee relations, organizational development & training programs. Assures compliance with all applicable HR laws and regulations. Provides oversight of the facilities and security functions. Business partner with all levels of management to support the facility’s specific business demands.

Major Position Responsibilities

Develop and implement HR policies and procedures.


Assist all levels of management in interpreting and administering Corporate, Division and location policies. Provide interpretation of applicable labor laws and regulations.


Administer salary compensation program. Recommend appropriate changes.


Assist in development of job descriptions and classifications of jobs.


Provide guidance and assist management regarding performance management and effective employee counseling and disciplinary processes.


Prepare and administer the Affirmative Action Plan. Train and counsel management and employees on EEO policies and their application. Participates in OFCCP, EEOC, FHRC, and DOL audits or hearings. Assures all associated records are maintained in accordance will applicable laws and regulations.

Conduct investigations into personnel matters and recommend corrective actions.


Partner with other managers to build teamwork, improve communication and foster a positive environment throughout the organization.


Develop and execute employee relations programs to foster positive morale and work environment.


Identify, develop, and deliver employee training and leadership programs for all levels of the organization.


Assist managers with career development and succession planning activities.


Oversee administration of employee benefits programs encompassing group insurance plans, 401K plan and employee activities.


Manage all aspects of the recruiting function, including orientation programs and retention of employees.


Manage the health and safety program, including training, audits/inspections, wellness programs and emergency response. Compile and report metrics.


Basic Qualifications

Bachelor's degree (BS/BA) in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field from four-year college or university; and 10 – 12 years of diverse, related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination. Strong computer skills, administrative data control, scheduling and team interface.
