We are looking for an End User Technician to work in our home office in St. Petersburg, FL. You will provide moderately-complex technical support and training to General Dynamics Ordnance & Tactical Systems (GD-OTS) users and deliver complete Service Desk support for St. Petersburg, FL as well as other GD-OTS locations. As our frontline support, your strong troubleshooting abilities, great customer service and attention to details will be crucial for this role. Major Position Responsibilities

  • Supports the day-to-day functionality, efficiency, and operational maintenance for desktop hardware, software, peripherals, and related systems running on one or more General Dynamics Ordnance and Tactical Systems networks.
  • Provide IT support for desktops, printers/copiers, peripherals, analog & VOIP telephone systems, mobile devices, and the ability to install, configure, and maintain complex software systems.
  • Identify, manage, and resolve issues in a timely manner.  Have the ability to successfully manage projects on time and within budget. 
  • Possess the necessary technical skills and take initiative to pursue development opportunities to build knowledge and skills.
  • Thinking independently and using technical experience to help drive policies and procedures.
  • Respond to customer requests in a professional manner and effectively communicate with them to meet commitments.
  • Taking the lead within team projects and provide guidance where necessary.
  • Effectively communicate orally and in writing.
  • Work independently and be capable of managing time, tasks, and priorities with minimal supervision. 
  • Must be punctual, maintain a well-organized working environment, be willing to travel up to 10%, and be willing to work nights, weekends, holidays, and work overtime to meet company objectives.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Basic Qualifications

  • Have 1-3 years of professional IT experience in a Service Desk role or a combination of education and experience.
  • Must be proficient supporting Microsoft Windows XP/10. 
  • Must have hardware & Software diagnosis and repair experience.
  • Experience supporting mobile devices.
  • Experience providing in-person and remote support.
