This position provides quality inspection support to manufacturing programs.
Maintains quality standards by approving incoming materials, in-process production, and finished products by confirming specifications, conducting visual and measurement tests, rejecting and returning unacceptable materials. Responsible for documenting inspection results on logs, summarizing re-work, and may be required to input into Quality database. Read and interpret blue prints. Disposition material as appropriate. Review SPC charts and implement corrective action. Responsible for maintaining a safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures, complying with legal regulations, and keeping work area clean and free of FOD. Other duties as assigned by Supervisor.
High School diploma or equivalent. One (1) year or more quality experience in a manufacturing environment or three (3) years production assembly experience.
